Bluebonnet Highlands enforces EBR Traffic Code (https://library.municode.com/la/baton_rouge,_east_baton_rouge_parish/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=TIT11TRCO_CH28PA) and BBH Act of Restrictions guidelines for the following reasons:
- Maintain traffic safety.
- Allow emergency vehicles to pass safely to destination.
- Ensure homeowner investment in our neighborhood is maximized.
- Deter crime by removing the invitation that comes with exposed parking.
The following is prohibited through Traffic Code and BBH Act of Restrictions:
1. Street parking overnight;
2. Parking on a sidewalk, curb, or grass;
3. Blocking a driveway
4. Parking within 25 feet of a fire hydrant;
5. Parking within 25 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
6. Double parking on the street, blocking traffic;
7. Parking on the driver’s left-hand side of any two-way street
8. Parking alongside a neutral ground curb;
9. Parking on the grass in your yard.
10. Making car repairs in the street is prohibited.
All houses are required to have a two car garage or carport, and we ask that you use such for your vehicles so that guests may use your driveway for parking.
In the event that you have additional guests, street parking must be limited to 9 hours.

If multiple family units are in a residence, parking problems are inherent.
In an effort to maintain a safe environment, Bluebonnet Highlands has retained Signal88 to monitor and enforce parking violations. In addition to Signals’ actions, please be aware that homeowner’s complaints regarding parking violations of neighbors are taken seriously and all efforts are made to resolve those complaints through violation letters and further action if necessary.
