Traps in BBH Lakes

We have begun trapping nutria and beaver in the lakes of Springlake and Fairhill.

We have a large nutria problem so this process may take several months.

The work is being conducted by Cage N' Critters.

Cage N' Critters will only have one person trapping, the owner David.  He should always be wearing a shirt that says Cage N' Critters and will never trap before 8:00am or after dark.

If you see him trapping in your area, please allow him access to the 10 foot servitude on the bank of the lake.  You may see traps in the area with animals caught in them from time to time.  David will check all traps daily as required by law.

Tampering with nutria traps is against state regulations, so please do not touch the traps or any animals inside of them.  If you see someone other than Cage N' Critters touching one of these traps, please call the HOA or the sheriff's office immediately.

We are trapping in areas with nutria reports first, so if you see nutria or have had a nutria problem in the past, please contact Cage N' Critters by messaging your address and the number of nutria to Cage N' Critter's Facebook page : HERE.  This message will go immediately to his cell phone.

Thank you for your cooperation.
